About LRCA

LRCA stands for Lake Region Christian Assembly, but we fondly call her Camp LRCA.  Since her genesis in 1925 on the shores of Cedar Lake, Indiana, LRCA has been bringing people closer to God through His Son Jesus.  It is supported and staffed by a fellowship of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ in the NW Indiana and Chicagoland areas.  Over its 86 years, LRCA has introduced thousands of youth to Christ, helping them deepen their faith, and helping many make a commitment to full-time Christian service.

LRCA relocated to rural Crown Point, Indiana, in 1977.  Our 140-acre campus allows us to serve an assortment of non-profit organizations, schools, and churches of many denominations.  LRCA has been host to a myriad of camps, retreats, single-day events, and special programs.  We also run a year-round Christian daycare and preschool, Caterpillar Academy.

LRCA is a great place to grow spiritually, physically, and emotionally.  Come camp with us.  Do archery, paintball, swimming, hayrides, and skateboarding with us.  There’s something here for everybody!
