Cherish Edwards
Camp LRCA is pleased to announce that Cherish Edwards has accepted the position of General Manager and joined our staff in late June. Cherish has worked for the past 6 ½ years for the Oblong Children’s Christian Home, 4 ½ as the Ministry Representative. She and her husband, Lamark, have 2 young daughters.
Cherish graduated from Lincoln Christian College University in 1999 with a BA in Early Childhood Ministry. In addition to working at Oblong Children’s Christian Home, Cherish has taught Kindergarten, served as a full time Children’s Minister, and together with Lamark, ministered as a houseparent at both East Tennessee Christian Home and Oblong Children’s Christian Home. She will complete her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Lincoln Christian University in late August.
Cherish is excited about the opportunity to use her gifts at relationship building and public speaking to build relationships with the LRCA churches. She believes that God has granted her a wonderful opportunity to blend her love for kids and teens with her passion for leadership as the General Manager of this ministry.
